Wander Rajasthan is a Jaipur travel company founded in 2026 by Surendra Singh Rajawat, a licensed tourist guide with over 30 years in Rajasthan tourism. It provides full-day Jaipur sightseeing taxis, Ministry of Tourism licensed guides, and multi-day Rajasthan tour packages at fixed, fully quoted fares.

Most travel companies are started by people who sell trips. This one was started by a man who has spent his working life walking tourists through Amber Fort and explaining what they are looking at.

Who runs it

Surendra Singh Rajawat founded Wander Rajasthan in 2026. He has spent more than 30 years in Rajasthan tourism, and for the last 10 of those he has worked as a licensed tourist guide — the kind with a Ministry of Tourism card, the kind who is allowed past the gate at Amber Fort and the City Palace.

That background shapes everything about how this company works. He knows which monuments are worth two hours and which are worth twenty minutes. He knows that Amber Fort before nine in the morning is a different place from Amber Fort at noon. He knows what it looks like when a driver quietly pads the bill at the end of a long day, because he has watched it happen to other people’s guests for three decades.

What we do

Three things, and nothing outside them:

• Jaipur sightseeing by cab — full-day tours covering eight hours and eighty kilometres, taking in Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Nahargarh, in anything from a three-seater hatchback to a twelve-seater Tempo Traveller.
• Licensed tourist guides — every guide we send holds a valid Ministry of Tourism licence. This is not a formality: unlicensed guides are turned away at monument gates, and the guest is the one left standing there.
• Rajasthan tour packages — multi-day trips with car, driver, hotels and guides arranged as one itinerary, from a six-day Golden Triangle run to a ten-day loop through Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur.

The one rule

Jaipur has no shortage of taxi operators. What it has a shortage of is a straight quote. Read the reviews of almost any cab service in this city and the same complaint comes up: the fare grew over the course of the day. A toll charge here. A parking charge there. An extra hour nobody agreed to.

We are built as the opposite of that:

• The rate board is public, on the homepage, for anyone to read before they call.
• Toll, parking and driver allowance sit inside the number we quote.
• Driver details — name, photo, car number, phone — go out the evening before pickup.
• No advance for a single-day Jaipur booking. You pay after the trip.

None of this is clever. It is just harder to copy than it sounds, because it costs an operator margin to promise it and mean it.

Where we go

Based in Jaipur, with regular routes to Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Pushkar, Ajmer, Ranthambore and Mount Abu — and pilgrimage runs to Khatu Shyam ji and Salasar Balaji, which we plan around darshan queues rather than around a standard departure time.
