Pilgrimage trips are a large part of what we drive, and they need a different kind of planning from a sightseeing tour. Darshan timings, queue lengths and very early starts matter far more than they do at a fort — a well-planned pilgrimage is the difference between a peaceful darshan and half a day in a queue.
We plan these around the temples, not around a standard nine o’clock departure.
The temples
- Khatu Shyam ji — the hugely revered temple in Sikar district, especially crowded on Ekadashi and during the annual fair. Early morning darshan is the way.
- Salasar Balaji — the Hanuman temple in Churu district, usually paired with Khatu Shyam ji on the same route.
- Ajmer Sharif — the famous Sufi dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, revered across communities.
- Pushkar — the sacred lake and the rare Brahma temple, an easy add-on to Ajmer.
- Nathdwara — the Shrinathji temple near Udaipur, for those going further south.
Mix and match these into a two-, three- or four-day route depending on which temples you want and how much time you have.

Yes — they're on the same route north of Jaipur and are almost always done together, often as a single long day or an overnight trip. We plan early starts for both to keep the darshan queues manageable.
How many temples can we cover in one trip?
It depends on the days you have. Khatu Shyam and Salasar make a comfortable one-to-two day trip; adding Ajmer and Pushkar makes it three; going down to Nathdwara makes it four. We'll build the route around the temples you want.
Do you plan around darshan timings?
Yes, that's the whole point of booking a pilgrimage trip properly. We plan pickups around temple opening and darshan queues, with early morning starts, so you're not stuck waiting for hours.
